How to Leave a Review

Go to My Sits
Navigate to your completed sits

Find the Completed Booking
Look for the sit you want to review

Click "Leave Review"
Select the option to review your host

Rate Each Category
Give a 1-5 star rating for each area

Write Your Review
Add a written review with specific details about your experience

Submit
Your review will be published once the host also leaves their review, or after 14 days
Rating Categories
Listing Accuracy
Was the listing description accurate? Were pets/home as described?
Communication
Did the host respond promptly? Were instructions clear?
Home Condition
Was the home clean and well-maintained? Were amenities as described?
Pet Information
Was pet care info complete? Any surprises about pet behaviour?
Do
- Be specific about what went well or could improve
- Mention pets by name if relevant
- Highlight what went well about the hosting experience
- Be constructive with any criticism
- Write within a week while details are fresh
- Acknowledge any unexpected challenges and how they were handled
Don't
- Include personal attacks or offensive language
- Threaten to leave a bad review to get compensation
- Review based on factors outside the host's control
- Include private information
- Leave a review for a host you didn't sit for
Responding to Reviews
You can respond to reviews left for you by hosts. This is optional but can be helpful to:
- Thank hosts for positive reviews
- Clarify misunderstandings professionally
- Show future hosts you're engaged and professional
Tip: Always respond professionally, even to critical reviews. Future hosts will see how you handle feedback.
Review Timeline
- Reviews can be left up to 14 days after the sit ends
- Reviews are hidden until both parties submit, or 14 days pass
- This prevents reviews from influencing each other
