Our Community Standards

Follow these guidelines to be a valued member of our community

Be Honest and Accurate

Provide accurate information in your profile and listings

  • Use recent, real photos of yourself and your pets
  • Be upfront about your pets' needs, behaviors, and health conditions
  • Sitters should accurately represent their experience and availability
  • Never misrepresent your identity or qualifications

Maintain professional and courteous communication

  • Respond to messages in a timely manner
  • Be polite and professional in all communications
  • Discuss expectations clearly before confirming bookings
  • Keep communication on the platform for your protection

Honor Your Commitments

Follow through on your responsibilities

  • Only accept or confirm bookings you can fulfill
  • Arrive on time and follow through on agreed responsibilities
  • Give adequate notice if you need to cancel
  • Complete all aspects of the agreed-upon care

The well-being of pets is our top priority

  • Provide pets with proper food, water, exercise, and attention
  • Follow all care instructions provided by the owner
  • Never leave pets unattended for extended periods
  • Seek veterinary care immediately if a pet becomes ill or injured
  • Report any animal abuse or neglect you witness

  • Treat the owner's home with care and respect
  • Follow any house rules established by the owner
  • Report any damage or issues immediately
  • Leave the home clean and in good condition

  • Complete identity verification and background checks
  • Meet in person before confirming a booking
  • Share emergency contacts and veterinarian information
  • Keep doors and windows secure to prevent pet escapes

Give Honest Reviews

Help build trust in our community

  • Leave fair, honest reviews after each sit
  • Focus on facts and your genuine experience
  • Don't use reviews to threaten or manipulate others
  • Respond professionally to reviews you receive

What's Not Allowed

The following behaviors are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination:

Harassment, discrimination, or hate speech
Fraudulent activity or misrepresentation
Off-platform payments or agreements
Sharing others' private information
Commercial solicitation or spam
Any form of animal abuse or neglect
Creating multiple accounts
Attempting to circumvent platform fees

Enforcement & Consequences

We take violations seriously to maintain the safety and trust of our community

First-time or minor violations may result in a formal warning

Temporary Suspension

Repeated or moderate violations may lead to temporary account suspension

Permanent Removal

Severe violations or continued misconduct will result in permanent ban

If you encounter behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it immediately. We take all reports seriously and investigate promptly.

  • Contact our Trust & Safety team directly
  • All reports are confidential

Appeals Process

If you believe an action was taken against your account in error, you have the right to appeal.

  • Submit an appeal within 30 days of the action
  • Provide any relevant context or evidence
  • Appeals are reviewed within 7-10 business days
